The Washington Youth Bowlers Tour will be hosting the Pac NW Collegiate Showcase & Expo at All Star Lanes in Silverdale, WA. This is our very first year showcasing our talented NW youth bowlers to some of the best bowling college coaches in the country!

The Pac NW Collegiate Showcase & Expo is open to all USBC youth members who are currently in 8th – 12th grade. U20 college-age bowlers who have not yet signed or bowled with a college may also participate. Priority spots will be given to U20 bowlers and high school juniors & seniors first.

The Showcase portion will be presented to prospective colleges virtually. All participants will work with the video staff to record footage that will then be edited into a digital bio that will be accessible online by college coaches who have registered with us.

All bowlers participating in the Virtual Showcase must also submit the required info for their bio by the deadline (5/18) and come dressed and groomed appropriately to properly represent themselves. (Tournament dress is required. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.)

To minimize noise and distractions, parents will not be allowed in the virtual showcase recording area while filming is taking place. We have provided an informational workshop for parents during this time instead.

Each bowler needs to complete their bowler bio for the college coaches. Use the link below to access the bio form. All forms MUST be turned in no later than 11:59 pm on Wednesday, 5/18/22.

Bowler Bio Form

This workshop will be geared towards the youth bowler. We will have a panel of college bowlers (bowlers who have been where you are!) answering your questions and sharing what it is REALLY like to bowl for college.

This workshop will be geared towards the bowling parent/guardian. We will have a panel of college bowlers as well as some parents there to answer questions for you and share what you should be doing as a bowling parent to guide your bowler during the process of pursuing college bowling.

This workshop will be running during the virtual showcase recording session.

Round 1:  All bowlers will bowl an initial (3) games of qualifying. Bowlers will then be grouped into (2) flights/divisions for this tournament.

Round 2: Will consist of 2 games, the top half of each flight will advance.

Round 3: All subsequent rounds will consist of 1 game, cutting to top half of each flight or until the amount of cashers reaches the 1:4 ratio. The final bowlers in each flight will then bowl a standard stepladder to determine the champions.

All scores used will be scratch. Scores DO NOT carry over from round to round.

If there is a tie to determine advancement to the next round, the stepladder, or a championship match, a 9th & 10th frame roll off will be held to break tie. If a tie still exists, we will move to a 1 ball roll off until a champion is declared.

Prize funds will be distributed at a ratio of 1:4. Prize funds shall be returned 100% to participants in the form of SMART funds.

This is NOT a WYBT season points-earning event.

ALL RULES NOT COVERED WILL BE BASED ON THE CURRENT USBC RULE BOOK & WILL BE THE DECISION OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
